This 400 page book, with an introduction by Martin Scorcese, is the
first comprehensive monograph on the pioneering filmmaking team
that set the standards of contemporary documentary filmmaking.
This program will also include a screening short films from the
Maysles Film archive, including clips from MUHAMMAD AND LARRY
and MUHAMMAD ALI IN ZAIRE. Albert will also be signing books.

MAYSLES FILMS INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS
DOCUMENTARY FILM INTERNSHIP
Maysles Films, Inc. is accepting applications from college students and graduates for its documentary film internship program. Interns work on a part-time, minimum 2 days/week basis for three to five months and receive a small stipend to cover travel and lunch. Interns will gain practical experience in editing, research, production, and the general workings of a small independent documentary film company and its nonprofit arm, Maysles Institute. Each intern is encouraged to read widely, generate ideas and approach problems creatively.
